Local and Express bus service is the core of Capital Metro’s public transit system. We are building new Park & Ride locations to provide you with more convenient access to service. We’re upgrading bus stops across our service area with new shelters, benches, signs, maps and other amenities.

A mix of downtown, crosstown and feeder services will get you where you need to go. As an added convenience, we are increasing local bus service to provide you frequent-stop access.

Improved alignment of routes will enhance bus and rail connections for Express and local bus service.

• Innovative technology such as real-time bus arrival displays and online trip planning along with future enhancements will make transit more attractive and easier to use.
• Capital Metro will seek new park & ride locations for South IH-35, South MoPac and Oak Hill.
• Future use of HOV/managed lanes will shorten your commute time.
