Great Customer Care is a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach for generating consistent, high quality, and user-friendly products and services across Capital Metro.
Capital Metro strives to provide you with a consistent and pleasant experience whenever you use our services.
Goals
Bus Stop Upgrades
Part of our commitment to Great Customer Care is our aggressive bus stop amenities project. Since 2005, Capital Metro has invested about $1 million per year to improve and enhance bus stops, and more than 700 bus stops have been upgraded during that time.
Based on recommendations from our customers and staff, crews respond quickly to add enhancements and make repairs to bus stops throughout the service area. Capital Metro assesses ridership data frequently to ensure bus stops have the proper amenities to meet demand.
FY07
FY08 to Date
Solar Powered Lighting
Capital Metro is participating in a pilot program to test solar powered lighting at select bus stops. Solar technology is a lower-cost alternative to electric lighting.
Adopt-A-Stop
Capital Metro's Adopt-a-Stop program gives local citizens, organizations, and businesses the opportunity to adopt and care for a Capital Metro bus stop. In recognition for assistance with the removal of debris in between Capital Metro¿s regularly-scheduled cleanings, Capital Metro will post a sign at each adopted stop. In addition, groups can add a unique touch to their adopted stop by incorporating elements that reflect the character of their neighborhood.
