Neighborhood Transit Centers

Neighborhood Transit Centers are on-street facilities that serve busy corridors where two or more routes intersect. They provide convenient transfer points for customers from the neighborhood or routes serving an area to major routes. Neighborhood Transit Centers usually provide more waiting areas and benches than a basic transfer stop. They sometimes feature bus pullout lanes, wider sidewalks, landscaping and other amenities.

We currently offer several Neighborhood Transit Centers across Austin, with plans to upgrade or add more centers in the future.
